Lord of the Flies is a thought-provoking novel authored by William Golding in 1954. The book describes in detail the horrific exploits of a band of young children who make a striking transition from civilized to barbaric.The book shows that man is inherently tied to society, and without it, we would likely return to savagery.Well we would like to thank to Out Magazine for saving us from that pessimistic outlook and showing us what really happens when a band of teenage boys are stranded in the woods?Something delicious has happened that made us said "Oh Gorgeous Lords , we are your humble flies..." Anthony Boccaccio began his career with National Geographic Magazine in 1971. Since then, his camera has taken him to over thirty countries in as many years. Boccaccio's very first photograph was of a man, the figure of Hercules in the Orion constellation. He was 13 years old and had just purchased his first camera, a Mark IV plastic box camera. The first male nude photograph was in 1976, in the Mohave desert.In 1978 he began Dreams, portfolio of color images taken directly from his own dream diaries. Black and white photography of the male nude came late in his career and in 1992 he began creating a series of fine art portfolios on various themes. The sensual for Boccaccio is more interesting visually than the erotic. Though no one could deny that this collection of beautiful bodies calls forth a certain erotic tone, it is an echo of innocence and purity.

This fine looking specimen of man is Edgar Javier , our dear friend Terry George spotted him whilst at Gran Canaria Pride earlier this year.Edgar works as a dancer.Recently he won Mr. Gay Gran Canaria which means he will compete in the European final hoping to win Mr. Gay Europe.

Terry is one of the best photographers in Europe and he's very sweet to send these pictures of Edgar for us to post. He is also Editor-In-Chief of British Gay Magazine Bent. And Edgar is on the cover of the magazine. Oh!One more thing : almost one year ago , when we decided to begin Casual in Istanbul , first thing we did was creating a header for the blog...and the infamous "kissing couple"on the header is a Terry George photography.Thank you Terry for being such a sweetheart...

Johan Lindeberg , creative director of 21st Century lifestyle brand J.Lindeberg has designed Dave Gahan's stage clothing which Dave is wearing throughout Depeche Mode's Playing the Angel World Tour , music videos and press appearences.The designs include sharp suits , waistcoats , t-shirts , shirts and belts and feature exclusive graphic prints inspired by Dave Gahan's tattoos.

In addition , Dave together with Alison Mosshart of The Kills are the new faces of the J.Lindeberg 21st Century Statements campaign for spring-summer 2006 , shot by photographer Steven Klein.

Dave has recently celebrated his 45th birthday and he's still one of the hottest guys on the planet. We're hoping to see him in(and hopefully out of) his J.Lindebergs at the end of July in Istanbul...

Taking pictures of people gives me a great opportunity to express my perception of and feelings about them, about their lives. My camera has taught me to perceive the beauty of a human body. I never fully understood what eroticism and erotic really meant until I started looking at nudity through the view-finder of my camera.

Artist Jan Stary has a really good point of view to young male. He likes casual boys doing casual stuff(fortunately with less clothes on!)

Nudity itself is not erotic. Nudity is not even beautiful. It is the bundle of light and shadows and angles, a tempting mixture of passion and smiles and innocence, a truly mysterious hodge-podge of innumerable "Elements of Creation" huddled into a split of a second that make nudity erotic and the erotic beautiful.

James Houston is a former model who began shooting photos in 1992 as a hobby. Now he's one of the most succesful international commercial photographers. We love his work as much as we love water sports ;) You can see more of his works here.

A praise to beautiful male bodies...perfect light and texture...

A good portrait captures the essence of a person without trying too hard. With no words , a photo can only show but it has to also tell...

Looking at a good portrait , the viewer sometimes feels they have seen or even come to know a little something about the subject. Maybe there is something in the subject's eyes , a gesture , the way a shirt is buttoned that makes a photo more than just a snapshot-makes it a kind of spiritual autobiography.

The Lowe Gallery has opened its doors to "James Dean and Roy Schatt:The Mirrored Psyche,"an exhibit that hasn't been displayed in its entirely in 50 years. Its white cinderblock walls and angled spotlights are appropriately conducive to appreciating Schatt's black and white photgraphs of the late actor James Dean , as well as photos taken y Dean himself.

Cenk Gencdis is a 33 year-old photographer from Istanbul. He has several National/International awards in photography. His latest project was Rafael : Matador...He took photos of an 18 year old Catalan boy/Torreador. The photos are breath-taking so the boy is.
"...i go upstairs to room 104 , the door is open.Two young matadors are dressing up for an hour later fight.Rafael's coming out of the shower...fully naked..."OMG sounds really kinky!
Well if you're a frequent reader from a long time you must know how we love everything about Spain , especially about Barcelona. And this boy really rocks.

Nihat Odabasi was born in Urfa , 1968...He started his professional career as a copywriter in a multinational advertising agency and later as a photographer in 1999.He has photographed many Turkish and international celebrities such as Tarkan , Elizabeth Hurley and Heidi Klum...Well he really has an artistic eye of human form , and we love his works with male models.

Unfortunately no reverse angle of this...we're curious what kind of beauty lies behind that LV bag??

Turkish female photographer Bennu Gerede has reflected the femininity of clothes and drapes on a hot guy with masculine attitude on January issue of DISHY Magazine. Italian hunk model Da Veiga undressed , then dressed up for this session and the result is perfect!

Men in dress...sounds like a queen , but surely not for this guy. We think those fancy dresses expose his masculinity more...

Well these dresses are nice but we prefer to see him with less clothes on!

He has come undone to our lives , now he's done! First saw him on Wild Reeds/Les Roseaux Sauvages, then love him in Come undone/Presque Rien and recently adored him in 3 Dancing Slaves/Le Clan.He's a hot piece and a very good actor from France. French Magazine Citizen K hired Turkish photographer Cuneyt Akeroglu for the hot photo session of Stéphane Rideau.Check out the very Turkish eye on him.

Photographer Cuneyt Akeroglu was born in 1978. After a succesful completion of his education in the field of fashion design he started his career by manifesting his own business in 2001.

His schooling in fashion design also gave him a valuable insight to creatibg his own style in the industry of fashion photography.With many different approaches as a creative fashion designer he at the same time became reknown as the fashion photographer who knows both sides of the coin.Citizen K Officiel , Elle , Marie Claire , Harper's Bazaar , TBWA , Tequila , YKM and Garize are just some of the names among his clientelle.

Diesel Turkey and fashion magazines in Turkey refused to use some ad pictures which are included Diesel's 2005 Fall Campaign. The Ad Campaign's photos which are very brave and provocative are taken by a Turkish photographer Mert Ulas and his partner Marcus Piggott. The magazines such as Cosmopolitan, Cosmogirl, Harper’s Bazaar, Esquire, Marie Claire, FHM and Madame Figaro refused to use either the photo with the hot butt or the hot butt with jeans without any restrictions from the government.At least they can use the one below (with some modifications) for some public service...LOL

Dutch photographer Benno Thoma regularly travels the globe in order to capture lighting on his subjects, either architecture, interior, landscapes or models.
He started to develop his talent for photography about twenty years ago in Turkey and the Netherlands and continued his photography experience during his travels. Nowadays Benno is well-known for his specialism in hotel an interior photography, as well as his achievements in fashion and model photography.

Artist Spencer Tunick has been documenting the live nude figure in public, with photography and video , since 1992. Since 1994 he has organized over 65 temporary site-related installations in the United States and abroad. Tunick's installations encompass dozens , hundreds or thousands of volunteers ; and his photographs are records of these events.Since 1992 , he has been arrested 5 times while attempting to work outdoors in New York City.

We read on papers that he is planning to organize an installation in Istanbul.We don't think that is a good idea! Have mercy to our eyes. O.K. ,there are lots of good looking guys in Istanbul but Spencer please be sure that your volunteers from Istanbul will probably be like that!!!

Born in Miami and raised in Los Angeles, Jack Slomovits picked up his first camera at the age of six, an Eastman Kodak "Brownie." Throughout high school and college, he won several fine art, photography and film-making awards and a scholarship to study at Parsons. In 1991 he moved to New York City to study photography at Fordham University and.learned the "trade" while working at a major New York film lab.

Growing up in the 80’s and maturing sexually in an age of AIDS, Jack’s lust for adventure was tempered by his fear and awareness of the disease. He experimented as far as his own boundaries for safe play would allow, and became conscious of how much fantasy dictates the reality of eroticism. By merging his sexual energy as a young man and his art, the camera replaced the condom and has become his wand of control.
